What is AUTISM?

Autism also known as Autism Spectrum Disorder

is a serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact.

Autism spectrum disorder impacts the nervous system.

The range and severity of symptoms can vary widely.

Common symptoms include difficulty with communication, difficulty with social interactions, obsessive interests, and repetitive behaviors.

Early recognition, as well as behavioral, educational, and family therapies may reduce symptoms

and support development and learning

Children with autism often are non-verbal or may be verbal with a

speech delay which may result in slow responses to their name or other verbal attempts to gain their attention.

They may Speak only in single words or repeat certain phrases

over and over, seeming unable to combine words

into meaningful sentences

Repeat words or phrases that they hear, a condition called echolalia

Use words that seem odd, out of place, or have a special meaning known only to those familiar with the child's way of communicating.

Each of these challenges may be magnified 10 times more if they are in a stressful situation like finding themselves lost or disoriented or overwhelmed due to sensory overload from environmental noises.

Chase affectionately know as my SONShine is

"OUR WHY" I created AUTISMFICATION ID

He is our 16 year old smart, stylish, fun, creative and young book Author who at the age of 3 was formally diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

He also has a speech delay which prohibits him from communicating his needs fully.

“One of my biggest fears in today’s world is that my young teenage son would not be able to verbally communicate in his time of need, especially if he ever got lost or had to communicate to law enforcement."

So, I created the nations first Voice Activated QR Coded Identification Card and wearable identification called AUTISMFICATION-ID for children and teens with special needs and all abilities.

This voice activated ID gives Chase and children like Chase a voice when they don't have one, by not only identifying their special needs, but by introducing them through the voice of a loved one with a

personalized voice message.
